Prices

At Sooty's Cupcakery you can choose your personal combination of cake and frosting (see menu for inspiration).

Cupcakes start from £2.00, and we have offers for 4, 6, 12, and more.

Prices show below are for layer cakes with sponge and icing. If you would like a novelty cake, or you have a specific design in mind, please contact us for pricing.

All our cakes can be stacked & inscribed with a message.

 4" (3-5 people) £5.00

6" (8-12 people) £16.00

8" (10-16 people) £26.00

10" (14-28 people) £38.00

Sugarpaste flowers, hearts etc and 3D handmade shapes (racing cars, shoes) start from 50p extra.

Your chosen layer cake can be covered with soft fondant at an extra cost. This will make the appearance of the cake neater, and it is recommended for anniversary cakes, complicated birthday cakes, novelty cakes etc.

Inscription is 1.00 extra, and from 20p per cupcake.

Satin ribbon can be provided at 1.00 extra. We buy all our haberdashery items from 'Duttons for Buttons' who have a wide variety of colours to  suit every need & colour scheme.

Stand hire is 10.00, with a 25 pound refundable deposit, and they would need to be returned to the bakery 1-3 days after your event.

We will be stocking our own, handmade Sooty's fruit cakes for Christmas, that will be packed full of brandy soaked dried fruits, and hand decorated with marzipan, soft fondant & decorations! Our prices will be here soon, in the meantime if you are interested in pre-ordering, please email us or pop in the bakery.

Hello Spring! (or sort of..)

It seems like we are also coming out of our blogging hibernation! During these last months, we have been doing our orders, baking for the shop and living through the exciting news of preparing for a new arrival, a little baby girl in August :).

We've also hosted a lovely bday party and a hen party (you can book our cupcakery for events for up tp 2 hours, please contact us for further info).

Our bakery will run as normal, with the only difference that on Thursdays we will shut at 2pm rather than 5:30pm. Please email us as normal at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for order queries, pop by, or ring us on (01904)289603.
