Our layered cakes use the same sponge as we make for our cupcakes. They have a filling between the two layers and on the top customised with decorations. Layered Cakes

Services

Here at Sooty's Cupcakery we love to help you out. Contact us to arrange a tasting time, where you can choose up to 4 flavours to taste and chat whilst having a coffee about your requirements.

We can cater for any kind of celebration including weddings, birthdays & christenings.

We can also create novelty cakes for your event, please notify us 2-3 weeks before! Prices are bespoke for these orders.

Sooty's can also cater for corporate events; any orders of 24 or more receive a 10% discount.

We ideally ask for a 4-5 days notice for small orders. For larger orders please give us a call on (01904)289603, email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , or pop by our bakery at 7 Castlegate in York, just behind the Coppergate shopping centre.

Please don't hesitate to contact us even 2 days before your party/celebration, as we will always do our best to cater for your order!

Sooty's Cupcakery does not have (at the moment) a minivan for deliveries. However, pick-up times for your goods can take place within normal trading hours, or if you give us enough notice, we could arrange a private taxi transfer to the destination of your event for setup. The fare would be added to the overall costs.

Hello Spring! (or sort of..)

It seems like we are also coming out of our blogging hibernation! During these last months, we have been doing our orders, baking for the shop and living through the exciting news of preparing for a new arrival, a little baby girl in August :).

We've also hosted a lovely bday party and a hen party (you can book our cupcakery for events for up tp 2 hours, please contact us for further info).
